Due to the imperfections of any GeoIocation IP service, I decided to create one that gathers information from all available free services I could find, and makes the decision by voting.
Due to data discrepancies between these services, my service can only provide information on “country” and “country_code”.
All data received from Geolocation IP HUB API services are cached for 7 days, so repeated requests will be processed much faster than the first one. However, you can skip the 7-day results cache by adding the 'force_update' parameter.

Country (United States) and country code (US)
Yes, but remember that not all IP geolocation services support IPv6, so there will be fewer providers on the ballot.
Yes, You can use multiple field parameters: &field=country&field=country_code. If no field parameter is added, it returns all available fields.
The Geolocation IP HUB API offers precise, real-time IP location data, enhancing user experiences and security for seamless global operations.
The GET json endpoint returns data in JSON format, while the GET plain endpoint provides the same data in plain text format. Both endpoints primarily return country and country code information based on IP addresses.
Key fields in the response include "ip" (the queried IP address), "country_code" (the ISO code of the country), "country" (the full country name), and "data" (a breakdown of responses from various providers).
The response data is structured with a top-level object containing fields like "ip," "country_code," and "country." The "data" field is a nested object that lists responses from different geolocation providers.
Users can customize their requests using parameters like 'field' to specify which data to return (e.g., &field=country). The 'force_update' parameter can be added to bypass the 7-day cache.
The Geolocation IP HUB API aggregates data from approximately 20 free geolocation services, ensuring a diverse range of inputs for improved accuracy through a voting mechanism.
Data accuracy is maintained by aggregating responses from multiple providers and using a voting system to determine the most reliable output. This helps mitigate discrepancies between individual services.
Typical use cases include determining user location for content localization, enhancing security measures, and analyzing traffic sources for marketing insights based on geographic data.
If the API returns partial or empty results, users should check the "providers_responsed" field to assess how many providers contributed data. This can indicate the reliability of the returned information.
To obtain your API key, first sign in to your account and navigate to the API you want to use. From the API's Pricing section, choose a plan and complete the subscription process. Once subscribed, return to the API page and you will see your API Access Key displayed at the top of the documentation page. You can use this key to authenticate your requests.
You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
The free trial lasts for 7 days and allows you to make up to 50 API requests.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
Yes. If the API offers a free trial, you will see a "Free 7-Day Trial" option in its Pricing section. The trial lasts for 7 days and allows up to 50 API requests, enabling you to evaluate the API before subscribing to a paid plan.

You can monitor your API usage through the response headers included with every request:
x-zyla-api-calls-monthly-used: Shows the total number of API requests you have used during the current billing period.
x-zyla-api-calls-monthly-remaining: Shows the number of API requests you have remaining for the current billing period.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply go to the Pricing section of the API you're subscribed to and click the "Unsubscribe" button.
